How Premier League Will end

It's going down again!!.   As of April 26, 2026, the Premier League title race is coming down to a photo finish between Arsenal and Manchester City. Following Manchester City's crucial 2–1 victory over Arsenal on April 19, the momentum has shifted significantly...

Arsenal (4 Games Left)

Arsenal’s schedule is relatively favorable, but they have no margin for error.

  1. May 2: Fulham (H) – H2H: Arsenal dominated the reverse fixture. Fulham is sitting 10th and safe from relegation.

  2. May 10: West Ham (A) – H2H: A London derby. West Ham (17th) is fighting for survival, making this a "trap" game.

  3. May 17: Burnley (H) – H2H: Burnley is currently 19th. This should be a guaranteed 3 points for the Gunners.

  4. May 24: Crystal Palace (A) – H2H: Selhurst Park is never easy on the final day, but Palace (13th) has little to play for.

Manchester City (5 Games Left)

City has a busier schedule due to their game in hand, but their form is ominous.

  • May 4: Everton (A) – H2H: City beat them 2–0 in October. Everton (11th) is tough at home but usually buckles under City's press.

  • May 9: Brentford (H) – H2H: City won the away leg 1–0. Brentford (9th) is punching above their weight but struggles at the Etihad.

  • May 17: Bournemouth (A) – H2H: City won 3–1 earlier this season.

  • May 22: Crystal Palace (H) – Game in hand. A midweek fixture that could decide the title.

  • May 24: Aston Villa (H) – H2H: Villa (5th) is chasing Champions League football. This is City’s hardest remaining game

Form & Momentum

  • Arsenal: Recovered from the 2–1 loss to City with a gritty 1–0 win over Newcastle yesterday (April 25). However, they have looked vulnerable in defense lately, notably losing to Bournemouth in early April.

  • Manchester City: They are in "title-charge mode." They haven't lost a league game since mid-January. Their recent wins over Chelsea, Arsenal, and Burnley show a team that knows how to close a season

Final Table Projection

Given City’s experience in run-ins and their game in hand against Crystal Palace, they are the statistical favorites.

The Verdict

The title will likely be decided by Goal DifferenceCurrently, Arsenal is at +38 and City at +37. However, City has five games to Arsenal's four to inflate that number.

Possible Final Standings:

  1. Manchester City (85 pts, GD +44)

  2. Arsenal (85 pts, GD +43)

  3. Manchester United (68 pts)

Expect Manchester City to clinch their third consecutive title (and 6th in 7 years) on the final day, unless West Ham manages to take points off Arsenal or Aston Villa pulls a miracle at the Etihad.
